We understand the important roles our dogs play enriching our lives and that is why we provide a home from home service to assist you and make your life easier giving you peace of mind when you cannot be there with your buddy.
Our home located 10 minutes away from some of the most beautiful sandy beaches and outstanding countryside in Cornwall.
We have a good size fully enclosed garden that is double gated and security locked and equipped to provide canine enrichment activities to improve the health and well-being of your dog or they can just relax in our open planned house.

We are proud to be licensed and rated 4 stars by Cornwall Council. Our boarding environment has been thoroughly checked by a Cornwall Council Inspector with reference to health & safety, food storage, exercise routines and sleeping arrangements.
Professional Dog Walking Insurance
Your dog’s well being is top priority to me, and accordingly I have comprehensive dog walking insurance provided by Petplan Sanctuary.
Canine First Aid Training
I hold First Aid for Dogs certification. I hope I will never need the skills I have learnt!
My Van is also equipped with a Canine First Aid Kit.

Highly recommended Tails and Trails! Nicki is a lovely lady and you can tell she has a passion for dogs. Our pup Mac spent the day with Nicki, while we went to the zoo. He had the best time and really enjoyed playing with Henry, her lovely dog. I would definitely use Tails and Trails again if we visited Newquay again. Thanks again Nicki x

Bella had her first taste of doggy day care today with ‘Tails and Trails’ and I’m so pleased it went well. Nicki is a lovely lady who clearly loves her dogs as Bella made friends with her instantly. Loved the photo updates of her adventures and will be returning every time we are back in the Newquay area. Thanks again Nicki! 👍

My family was coming into town and was looking for a daycare for our puppy while we were going on a coasteering adventure. Nicki was able to provide a safe space, exercise, and playmates for our Bruno. He was so excited when we arrived and was comfortable within the first 5 mins. Her home is equipped with more than enough space, toys, and love for our furry baby. We did not have any worries while we were away. Nicki was also very accommodating and kept our pup a little while longer so we could enjoy lunch and some ice cream before picking him back up. I highly recommend her services and will be using her again if we are back in the Newquay area. 🐾

Nicky’s Tails and Trails provides a home away from home for your best friend. Our Monty loves it with Nicky and Her dog, Henry. We are absolutely clear that he receives the very best of care and we have no concerns at all when we entrust her with his care. We love the fact he is treated like a member of Nicky’s family and get regular updates during the day, including pictures, telling us what he has been up to on all the lovely walks he gets.
I could not recommend Tails and Trails highly enough.
